Hey everyone.

Octaves and I are parting ways. There are several reasons, and I’m not going into all of them. The bottom line is, none of us were getting along musically and I was the one with the most objections to where things were going. After these first 3 songs we wrote, everything took a dive in my eyes. Everyone saw it, and we just weren’t vibing anymore.

None of this is personal. This is strictly artistic differences. And it just wasn’t fun anymore. Why go forward with something if it isn’t fun anymore, right?

I’ve had a few other offers, and plan on investigating those options, and entertain the idea of giving up my life to pursue music, yet again.

To anyone in a band: Don’t ever compromise your views. Only do what you want, and what you think is worth doing. NOT, what everyone else in the band thinks is worth doing. Being in a band is like being in a long term relationship with 4 or 5 (or 8 if your slipknot) other dudes. So naturally, there will be compromises, but never buckle on things you feel strongly about. I never did, and I never will. And tho I’m a free agent now, at least I wont keep putting myself, or any of the other guys through anymore bullshit.

To Octaves: Good luck. You’ve got a lot of work ahead of you.
