Last day of The Razia’s Shadow Tour
This has been a crazy awesome adventure. Without question the sweetest tour I’ve ever done. All the bands are full of super sweet people, and I feel like I’ve made some great friends along the way.
Last nights show in Seattle was definitely awesome. Forgive Durden is from Seattle, so the crowd there was super hyped. Afterwards, we all went to a Karaoke Sushi bar called Imo. I typically HATE karaoke. Like, seriously hate it. But I had enough drinks in me last night to lower that wall of hate for a bit. What made it awesome was the face that there was no stage. It was just people at their seats singing with all their friends singing along. We ended the night with Journey, and it was awesome. Everyone in the room went crazy. Also, I had this delicious spicy seaweed salad, and vegetable tempura, thanks to my new friend Ariel. She was hookin’ up the drinks and food all night. For everyone.
We are in Spokane right now. It’s overcast and windy, as expected. We spent the night at Jarons (drummer / Forgive Durden) house last night, but the guys didn’t wake me up when we got there, so I slept in the van…again. After already starting to get sick, that last overnighter in the van sealed the deal. I feel like toasted shit. But, at least it’s the last day, and I’m not getting sick right at the beginning of the tour.
I fly home tomorrow morning out of Spokane, with a layover in Denver. Time for some serious sleep, and quality time with my love.
